Names: Red racer

Average length: 36-66 in.

Juveniles: They have spots or stripes, although sometimes they will not show. Their bodies are brown, tan, or black.

Habitats: Deserts, grassy areas or places with shrubs, often times with rocky ground. They like some bushes, but they can’t be too thick or it can’t move fast enough, so they avoid dense areas.
